Amazon Meds Malachite Green 100ml Use 1 tsp approximately 2.5ml per 20 gallons of water. Controls diseases caused by external parasites dor use in salt & fresh walter. Malachite Green is an effective medication and used for the control of various external parasites of fresh water and marine fishes. When used as direct, the medication will control or prevent the following common protozoan parasites Ichthyophthinus ( fresh water ich ) Costra chilodonella Ambiphyra Cryptocaryon ( marine ich ) Epistylis Oodinium Trichodina Malachite Green is also effective againts common external fungal infection of fishes and eggs which includes Achiya and Saphorolegnia. Anextensive body of literature supports its use as an effective agent in the control of fungus on fishand eggs.
